This photo pays tribute to Sen. Edward Kennedy, who made a dramatic appearance at the Democratic National Convention tonight in Denver. Triumph Books sent me to Denver to publicize my book (I did two television interviews today). This trip also gave me the chance to photograph this historic event tonight. Kennedy has terminal brain cancer, and it was uncertain if he would appear.
Appear he did, making an emotional speech to the delegates.
